Subject: Typical time spent in Quality Check on new orders?
Hey everyone,
I have an M4 Comp X-drive on order and I ordered the vehicle on 9/13 and the process thus far has been really smooth. The car was making it through the various stages quite quickly and it is currently in QC. I have been reading on BMW forums that some people are getting stop orders on their cars due to audio issues or something else that needs to be fixed in the factory. I looked up my vin and I shouldn’t have any recalls at this moment. Has anyone else been in stuck in QC for a long time as well? I am assuming it is just due to the supply chain at the moment and me being an impatient person haha.

Subject: is it worth buying an E46 for 5k and renovate everything with additional 5k?
Hey!
I reached out to a dealer about an hour and a half away from me, as another user mentioned how good their experience was, and my local dealer didn’t seem as receptive to helping me with my warranty issue. They put a loaner in my invoice, and assured me that I’d have something to get around with. Well, upon arriving, they simply said “they couldn’t do anything” since they’ve never seen my car before. Well maybe don’t promise me a loaner; or print it on my service sheet/appointment sheet? I also paid $200 extra to have it towed the extra distance (since they promised me a vehicle), although the towing money isn’t what I’m mad about. I have to rent a car for two fucking weeks now; whereas if they simply said they couldn’t do a loaner I wouldn’t have brought it there. I am lost at what to do, and quite frankly feel scammed. They rolled the red carpet out over the phone/email and pulled right out from my feet at the dealer.
2007 E90 in for recall, warranty, AND out of pocket work.
I don’t feel entitled to a loaner car, but definitely don’t promise me one if you can’t deliver. I had the car towed there a day earlier, it was logged & looked at and they still promised me a car until I was there in person.

Hello r/BMW,
I am actually owner of a F20 116i (2015/57k kilometers).
I am planning to buy a E92 or F30 (325i or 328i). Ideally F30 328i with Sport pack, with less than 75k kilometers.
Considering I am living in France (close to Germany then), how much should I invest for this type of car ?
Sorry if my request isn’t clear. Thanks everyone!

Subject: About to get a 2007 BMW 3 series 328xi for 5,500 is it worth it?
This is my first bmw I will be buying and I have a couple grand put aside in case it breaks within the next month or so although I hope it wouldn’t. The dealer says the only problem is that it needs a new o2 sensor which I hope is an easy and inexpensive fix. Just wondering what you guys think let me know !

Subject: Are BMW dealerships putting the tacky amazon/ebay M// color stripes in the grills of newer cars? (North America)
I swear every 2018+ 3/4/5 series I see around here (Charlotte NC) has them. No matter if its a young guy with a modified car or somebodies mother driving her kids to school. Seems like every damn BMW has them. Drives me crazy how bad they look lol.
