Subject: Is a 2013 335i with 80k miles a good idea?
Trying to cut back my monthly bills and get rid of my Golf R while I can get more than I paid new. Would you guys buy a manual 2013 335i with 80k miles? If you had 20-25k to spend and wanted a manual BMW where would you put your money? I've done all maintenance on my R and the GTI before it, and I've done basic thing like plugs, coils, and valve cover gasket on a BMW 3.0, so I can probably handle some of the maintenance myself. Completely new to the platform so any advice is appriciated.
Subject: Looking for help finding a first BMW.
Always loved the styling and power of the higher trim 3 series. With the used car market how it is, likely going to hold off until it stabilizes somewhat, aiming for summer 2022.
Only ever owned Camrys, 2006 and 2018. Recently went to look at a used 2013 335i. I am very interested in the inline 6. Recently saw a fully loaded 2012 X5 with 120k miles or so, which has sort of prompted this post.
Considering I’ve never owned one - I’m looking for some first time buyer’s advice. Years to avoid? RWD vs AWD? Max mileage you would buy?
I’m a younger guy and I don’t do much driving. Mostly just looking for something fun to drive when I feel like it.
Subject: Cant Take off Wheels, Need Key!
I have a 2000 323i, and the PO bought nice Beyern wheels for it. The only problem is I got a flat on my rear wheel and CANNOT take it off for the life of me. I already broke my ratchet extension trying to rip the damn thing off. The lugs didn't move even with a drill...
Maybe there is a key for the wheels but I cant find anything online. My last resort is to bring it to a shop, but id rather not.
Thanks for any help!

Subject: About the (2015) 228i and steering performance
So, I tried to put some stress on the car and see how far I could push it. To my surprise, I noticed that the car feels understeer. I am still on stock suspension (and stock tune - not really relevant here but worth mentioning). The only "noticeable" mod that could affect the steering are wheels: 18x225/40 front (stock), 19x235/35 rear (aftermarket). The front have less grip than rear. cornering feels very understeer, the car feels like to overturn from the front when turning.
It's important to note that front tires are stock run flat all season and for the rear all season high performance Advanta tires. I know that tires play a huge role but the noticeable hiccup was the under steer.
Do you think after market lowering spring would improve & remediate the understeer? Would the sway bar helps as well?
