Subject: BMW E36 in front of the Nürburgring (my photo / owner unknown)
Hey all, Ok so I have talked to a dealer who says that they have a week 3 of 52 for the next year 2022 allocation for an m4. They said I will receive the car by the end of February. I always thought the week you are allocated for is when you could expect the car to be finished, am I wrong? Also is a month a long time, I thought the car takes 1-2 weeks to be built. Finally, would a deal actually have an allocation that is 7 weeks away? Thanks for any and all help.

Subject: Im looking to buy this e90 but it has one rim thats not the same, does anyone know where i could find a used 405m rim like this for maybe around 200
Hi everyone!
I just got a brand-new/used BMW 528 2012 with not so many options and I would like to code some into it but I thought it was more of an iPhone jailbreak but it is way more coding than I know how to do, can someone help me in the Ann Arbor, MI area or remotely? I don't have comfort access. I want to do the following:
- Turn Auto Start/Stop ON by default
- Turn Auto-H ON by default
- Unlock all doors when engine is stopped (start/stop button is pushed). Allows single pull to open doors.
- Fold mirrors when locking car
- Close mirrors + windows + moon roof through Key Fob
- Opening doors will not interrupt window roll up operation.
- Disable iDrive legal disclaimer during iDrive startup.
- Enable Sport+ mode
Things that I don't know if can be done:
- Set climate+seat parameters depending on which key is used
- Set climate parameters depending on which memory seat is used
- Unlock all doors when pressing unlock button on Key Fob
- Ability to use CarPlay without having extra hardware installed (I'm only interested on getting Waze and audio tbh)
Thank you so much!

I recently picked up an E53 X5 3.0i with 250k mi for cheap from an old man that took pretty good care of it, did all the work and maintenance etc, except that he let his daughter drive it for a year or two before selling it and it looks like she neglected to change the oil. Quite a bit of sludge around the oil cap and crank case opening which I assume extends into the crank case. Some of it's normal buildup I'm sure but it looks excessive.
The car actually runs really well; a bit of lifter noise when cold (normal from what I've read), but otherwise the engine sounds healthy and the transmission feels better than my 2016 Colorado z71 did new, which is pretty amazing to me because they're both GM transmissions. I did an oil change the week before Thanksgiving and found no metal shavings and no chunky solids in the oil. Currently just shy of 254k miles with no issues except an aging front suspension that I plan to address next week but I'd like to stay proactive. Anyone have any recommendations for caring for a high mileage e53; maybe an engine flush is in order? I appreciate any info, thanks.
