Subject: Thoughts/things to look out for when buying a used 430 Gran Coupe?
Looking into getting a new(used) car to commemorate my graduation/induction into the adult world. Been a huge fan of the Gran Coupe’s because of their looks and the lifted hatchback, but don’t know much about the specs/potential issues to look out for. Any tips? :-)

Subject: Trying to get into auto photography, wanted to share a shot from my first car shoot ever.
Subject: After 7 months, i have it back, engine rebuilt and running in. Still a few jobs to do including getting it mapped but it's got some punch.
Subject: 50cm of snow in 24h. At some point the grille was also filled with snow.
On my last posts I talked about how I needed to swap my steering columns in my cars and because of some things and I finally did it AND SHE FUCKING STARTED, IM SO FUCKING HAPPY RIGHT NOW

So apart from the “learning how to creep bit” things have been going well.
But….
How the fuck do you launch smoothly with this DCT? I’m not talking red light drag racing or any stupid shit. I just want to accelerate to cruising from a stop without bucking around like teenager learning to drive standard.
I came from a Mk7 GTI DSG that was butter smooth. This DCT is more engaging for sure but, am I just doing something wrong?
Scenario: Sports plus, and all that because it’s new to me and if it’s an option to do shenanigans I want to.
So,
Red light; I’m upfront speed limit is 45, I tap to roll and then press the gas again. Car rolls, lurches forward tacs up and digs in, lunges forward and I of course instinctively back off the throttle. It settles in 3rd having launched me into the intersection like a tool, I give it a touch more gas and we roll from there no problem…all the while I’m trying not to turn red from embarrassment.
Am I just “learning” or am I applying all the wrong theory to this gearbox. I honestly feel standard would have been less trouble.
Sidebar: I have watched all the videos about how to drive your “M” from BMW.
