I previously had a 2018 440i coupe and I loved it. Sure an M4 would be great but the 440i is such a well-balanced car, great for everyday stuff but also way fun for when you really feel like driving. If you aren’t someone who is ever going to the track but you still like to have a good time, I think a coupe like the 440i is perfect. This new M240i feels to me like a smaller and more nimble variation of that generation 4 series. It has the same B58 engine and is significantly faster than the outgoing 4 series. Doesn’t it have the same level of horsepower as the current gen 4 series? I’ve always preferred the 4 series because it feels more refined I guess, I grew up a fan of the 3 series coupes before the 4 was introduced, I sold my 440i because I moved to the city and it was too big for what I need now. I know the new design has been getting a lot of hate from some people but I actively like some angles and don’t really mind what upsets others about it. The small taillights were on off choice, fair enough, but I want my M240i in black with the shadow like trim, the taillights look cool blacked out like that. Idk I want one.
