Subject: How Often Do You Floor It At Red Lights? Is This Bad For The Car?
Just got a 2018 330i with 17,000 miles on it. So happy with it!
Anyways, this has a sport mode and is it okay to just completely floor it at a red light once in a while? Maybe just once a week?
I’m not a need for speed guy, but I’m just wondering if doing this would be detrimental to my car. I love this thing so much, I’ve worked really hard to get this and never owned anything nice in my life ever.
Thank you!!

Hi All
I have budget to buy a 2015 plate in both of these cars and wanted to get some thoughts as to which is the better purchase. Initial thoughts below
4 series - better looking my opinion - doesnt have the 2017 facelift (led lights etc)
3 series - better engine - has the led facelift as was done earlier for the 3 series - doesnt look as good and feels far more common on the road (i live in the uk)
I havent test driven a 330d which may help me decide but in the meantime, what are the thoughts here?

Subject: Installing keyless entry on brand new 2022 BMW X3- good or bad idea?
Let’s just start with that I know nothing about cars…
I just picked up a company car that I will be driving for 2 to 3 years. Somehow, even though the car has remote start, remote locks, etc., it does not have keyless entry (I have to manually push the unlock button on my keys, when I want to unlock by having my hand on the door handle).
Dealership said they can’t install this feature, it has to be ordered before the car is manufactured. My only option is to go to one of those car alarm places. Would that be a terrible idea? Would it possibly mess up the aesthetics of the car and/or the wiring? This isn’t my car so I could get in big trouble, but the inconvenience of constantly having to pull my key out when I haven’t been doing this for at least the last seven years is huge

Subject: Anyone else find BMW AUC warranty like getting blood from a stone?
Title kinda says it all and a bit of a rant. Recently bought my 4th car from BMW dealerships and I've been finding that nothing is covered under the approved used "warranty" anymore.
I'm in the UK and my M2 Competition had had a couple of problems. Started out with judder under braking, now I've had a dead battery all within 2 months of ownership. Only to be told both times to fork out £1000 and £300 respectively.
I've had the fight with them both times, but each requires more effort than the last and only resolved when I start to mention consumer rights. BMW don't want to pay for faults to their vehicles, which requires stress, multiple visits, diagnosis and fighting to get anything fixed.
Is this a local experience or wider? What gives?
