Hi All,
I have a 2021 m340i with 19” 225/40 run flat tires. Unfortunately, not an xdrive. Going up to a ski resort this season in California and wondering if anyone here has recommendations for tire chains? Unfortunately “snow tires” don’t count in CA (I think) in the event CHP is checking to make sure people have chains.
Thanks for your time!

I connected my phone to the car via android auto, still tells me I'm not connected to wi-fi (?). So i connected to my car as wi-fi, then it tells me I need proper bluetooth connection to the car.
I haven't been able to update since October and I gave up. Anyone else having the same issue?

Hello guys,
I am new to this Reddit so my apologies if this has been discussed. I purchased a 2020 X4M with only 2500 miles last week from the dealer, and the brakes squeak like hell below 5mph when parking (especially in reverse). The dealer tells me this is normal on the M brakes and I have seen a lot of conflicting information as to if this is normal vs common on the internet. Please provide any insight before I go raise hell at the dealer for something that cannot be fixed lol. Thank you.

Subject: 2017 X3 cigarettes light ports not working - Fuse issue? Where can I find the correct diagram?
Hi,
The cigarette lighter in both the front and rear of my brother's 2017 X3 isn't working. I suspect it's a fuse so I was trying to look up a fuse diagram and also the correct fuse part # but I'm having trouble with that.
It seems that since there are two generations within the same X3 body, there's different diagrams. And every website I go to has a different diagram.
For example, the one here (https://imgvehicle.com/bmw/x3-ii-f25/fuse-box) lists fuses 1,54,65,143,144,171, and 176 as the corresponding fuses for the cigarette lighter but that can't be right? That many fuses for the two ports?
If someone could point me in the right direction where I could find the correct diagram and fuse amp, I would very much appreciate it!
Thank you!

Subject: Anyone have the m performance exhaust on a 428/430i?
Wondering how you like it? How the sound is? I am interested in getting one but am a tad worried it may be “too loud”. I just want a nice addition to the cars engine sound. Nothing drone like or annoying. My other question is getbmwparts.com a good reliable place to order? If not what is the best place to order from?

I am in the market at about $15-19k for BMW and i have been floating around the 2013-2015 328i depending on the package fall into that price range. However, I am just getting into the work force after finishing grad school and I dont think it is a smart idea for me to get a car that requires premium with how much driving im going to be doing in the near future. Does any one have any recommendations on something that will fit the bill? I currently drive a 2005 330xi. (Just hit 200k miles)

Was suppose to pick up my X5 45e tomorrow. Was informed it wouldn’t be ready as it needed a new alternator. Friend just got X5 a month ago and needed to bring it in for repairs the first week. Kind of worrying, anyone else have issues like this?

Subject: I still get excited every time I hop in and start her up :)
Subject: Just heard that production of my m240i has been put back from week 6 to week 20.
I'm in the UK and ordered it back in Sept, thinking Feb was going to be a painful wait but May takes the biscuit. I was told all 2 series and some 4 series have been put back with the odd few being brought back forward again so there is still hope.
I do understand the difficultes and constraints the industry is having to carry but it is still disheartening I must admit.
