Absolutely love the i8, found it from a private seller at 70k, 2016 model driven 33,000 miles. How sketchy is this if it has a clean carfax?
What are the sub's thoughts on buying this car used? Any reliability issues that any previous owners might know of, or any reason that this might be more costly to own than something such as the m4/z4 other than drastic repairs?
Was originally looking into the m4/z4 or Porsche Cayman, but with the cars priced ~60k figured I could just shell out 10k more and go for a slightly older i8. Am I being naive and repairs/maintenance will eat me alive, or am I getting a good deal on a used GT car that doesn't really have a market? Thanks for the advice!

So i am 25 years old and i am in the process of switching jobs, i have never owned a car before but i have driven a company car (peugeot 308) for around 3 years now.
The new job does not offer a company car but significantly more pay and i am looking to buy my first self owned car.
I have 2 options: A: buy an older car with 150.000km + that i can drive for 2-3 years, sell and buy a nicer, newer car. What options are best for these (Location: Germany)?
B: I do not go for an older car, and instead get a more recent one and drive it for 5-7 years with good maintenance. I was thinking of a 2019 420d that has around 55k km on it.
What do you guys suggest?
