Subject: Hey all! Just a couple of pics of my ‘09 335i sedan that I’ve had for a few months now.
I'm wondering if modding your BMW (either used or new) is worth it at all. Currently, the mods that I was thinking of was a MST cold air intake, (maybe) a downpipe (catted because I don't want everything around my car to smell unbearable), a chargepipe to replace the OEM plastic one, and the M-Performance Exhaust (which I don't want to get anymore). I also don't want to ECU tune my car because its still under warranty. I know these mods without a tune won't really get you any performance gains, but I heard it enhances the induction and exhaust notes of the car, which I think would help me enjoy the car a bit more. For reference I have a G20 330i.
More than that, I want to know the experience of you guys who have modded your BMWs. Has the reliability of your car been compromised after modding, and if so, at what extent of modifications did your car develop problems?

Looking to get the F10 N63B44 with 444hp but i see alot of articles with problems and saying these are not really that reliable so i want someone who already owned it or still owns it to give some advice or let me know what i'm expected to see if i get this engine. I'm hoping to keep it for about 5 years and not spend a fortune on maintenance or have it sitting in service all the time.
