Luckily I caught this before I really needed it, and hopefully this helps others too as well

When I got my M340 several months ago I installed the BMW Drive Recorder app in lieu of an aftermarket camera. When you first install it, you sign up for a trial with your CC and everything. I had assumed that when the trial was over, I’d get charged, just like any other trial you sign up for.

Yesterday after doing the parade laps at Mid Ohio, I discovered that when the trial ended, the app uninstalled itself! Was a bummer to not catch the laps, but I’m glad I caught it before I really needed it

So - if you signed up for the trial and think it’s still active, better double check it!
