Does having 19" wheels change the torque for the lug nuts?

Subject: What's a good dash cam with parking mode you guys can recommend?

[Reply] [ReplyQuoted] [Headers] [Print]

To keep this short, I found my car a bit damaged on my home parking lot. Unfortunately for me, I have to park my car outside in a shared parking lot, and my neighboors are not particularly car enthusiasts nor mannered enough to care about other people's belongings.

It was recommended to me that a good dash cam with parking mode should somewhat ensure that if my car gets hit, it would be easier to catch the culprit, especially if the damage is more significant. I did some research of my own and found that BMW themselves offer a dash cam setup, the Advance Car Eye. Besides this one, I also found that Vantrue, Blackvue and Thinkware also offer some great options.

I'm interested to read your opinions on the dash cams you use and what they offer. The main things I'm looking for my particular case is that it's a front and rear setup, it has good quality day-night and most importantly, it features good parking mode. The parking mode aspect it's probably the most important for me. It's just so annoying knowing that every time I park somewhere, even if it's on the 'desolate' side of the parking lot, there's always someone parking next to me that could just hit my car and leave with no consequences. You probably know the feeling.

Looking forward to your suggestions. Thank you!

Subject: Another question for my e36, sorry for the spam

[Reply] [ReplyQuoted] [Headers] [Print]

my idler pulley and belt tensioner pulley both seized up causing my serpentine belt to shred itself to bits, but while i was looking at the belt tensioner im just really confused b/c i cant find it anywhere online or in the service manual. instead of a hex or an allen key bolt its just a regular 15mm bolt, i cant see where the belt tensioner is actually bolted on so i cant even guess what size bolt it is (might just be blind who knows) and when i tried to move the tensioner with the new pulley on there it wouldnt budge at all. any advice is helpful thanks.
