Subject: Does anyone have any experience modifying their BMW?
I bought a 118i shadow edition as my first ‘nice’ car a few years ago after falling in love with the test drive.
I’m now coming to the point where it’s time to upgrade and I’d love to get a BMW that I can modify it’s performance, don’t really care about external mods but still very new to all of this so open to anything.
I have a budget of about £15/20k for the car and about £5k a year for anything extra. I’ve been looking and at the moment I’m quite keen on either a M140, 320i or 428i all between 3 and 6 years old. Does anyone have any advice regarding which of these cars are worth modding, costs, general pain-in-the-assery or anything that a novice might easily overlook? I live in the UK if that’s relevant as well.
Thank you very much in advance!
Subject: Upgrading to M235i… I currently have 135i, reason behind is since I’ve bought my 1 series 2 years ago when I was at the BMW dealer I saw a m235i and immediately wanted it. It looked like my 135i but just newer and felt bigger the interior was heavenly with the technology. And it still has angle eyes
