I placed an order for an i4 M50 the beginning of the month, it's not in the order bank yet, and the dealership was talking about an early to mid 23 delivery date. How the hell do some of you wait that long? It's driving me crazy. Having anxiety and ADHD don't exactly help the situation. Admittedly this is my first BMW so I am not really brand loyal at this point, but I always find myself at other car configurators looking at different cars and wondering if I made the right decision to go EV at this point in time instead of enjoying ICE while it lasts. I test drove a 21 330i and the sounds of that engine really made the decision to go with the EV tougher than I thought. Part of me wants to go get a used 330 and drive it till the EV is ready lol.

TLDR: ADHD/Anxiety prone struggling with waiting for i4 M50 :)

Hello all, I plan on placing an order for an M340 within the next month. I’ve never owned a BMW so I’d like some recommendations on which features to get. I’m a low mileage driver and basically only getting the car for fun and enjoyment. I work a remote job so I won’t be commuting in it. On the BMW design website, so far I’ve selected:

-2023 M340 xDrive

-M performance (is the shadowline worth it?)

-Skyscraper grey metallic (I think I prefer the dravit grey metallic but not sure if it’s worth the extra cost and production time)

-18 in standard wheels (is it worth getting the 19 in with the high performance package?)

-Black Vernasca leather with blue contrast stictching

-Aluminum Rhombicle Anthracite

-Driving assistance package

-Premium package (I really want HUD display)

-Wireless device charging

Total MSRP including destination fee is $62,795. Are there any other features that you think would be worth adding or maybe any above that aren’t necessary?
