Subject: Wannabe Wednesday: What BMW do I get? Is this a good deal? What should I watch out for? | A weekly BMW buying megathread
What BMW should you get? Not sure if it's a good deal? Unsure what are some common issues with that generation/model year car? Ask here! Any posts related to buying a used or new BMW belongs and is welcome here.
Please try to include any pertinent information such as links to the sales listing, photos of the car, location, etc. We are not crystal ball reading genies, the more information, the better!
Helpers: Please try to substantiate your claims. Rather than just simply "no, not a good deal", try to provide some context into why, as your reasoning might not be relevant to the asker. e.g. "This is a bad deal as this car is known to have issues at 60k miles, and it's already at 59k." would be helpful, but obviously not required.

Subject: F10 535d engine in a F10 530d
I've got a 530d (2014) that might need a new engine, I've found a really good 535d (2016) for a good price with low miles.
My question is, will it fit just fine? Both cars are LCI and are of comparable age and hopefully the technology is the same.
Has anyone ever had this done? The only reason I'm going for the 535d engine is that it's for almost the same price as if I were to get a 530d engine.
Everything will be done probably of course.
Thanks in advance.

Subject: Sleeping in BMW 530e ?
Anyone tried to sleep in a BMW 530e when the backseats are folded? And if so, can they get flat enough? And how much space is available provided you move the front seats as much as possible to the front?
Ideally I'd like to have enough space for two and can't find much info about this.
Subject: Looking for a set of snow tires
Looking for recommendations and where to buy some snow tires for my 2022 M4 (275/35 R19 front, 285/30 R20 rear). Would like to go with Michelin or Pirelli. Conti I’m not a fan of, and definitely want to stay away from cheap shit brands.
I live in New England and plan to go snowboarding, so I’ll need a decent set. Studless is preferred as I’ll be moving to California (and plan to keep the tires for snowboarding there), and I don’t think studded tires are legal there, but I could be wrong.
Subject: Thinking about buying my first BMW (F82 M4)
About to make my first big boy purchase. A 2015 F82 M4 6MT with 25k miles. Listed at 46k from a used car dealership. I’m nervous and I have no idea if this is a good idea or not. You guys think this is a good deal? I’m hoping that this model in manual will hold its value pretty well. As far as I know it’s the base model with executive package. Most F82’s I see are around 40k-50k but for much higher mileage so this one stuck out with me. What do you guys think? Good deal? What are some issues to look for in 2015 model? You guys think it’ll hold value considering it’s an M plus a manual transmission? Plz be honest if I should pull the trigger or not. I appreciate a second thought
