The settings are default, except YpBpR=1 and Composite_sync=1

Subject: A MiSTer first look, how to build & configure, demo, cost, pros & cons
I'm going to get my first MiSTer soon and because I have a lots of original controllers as well as some USB controllers, I think that BliSTer board could be good choice. However I have some questions and would be happy if someone can help me with these.
- If I want to use my old controllers should I have LLAPI cores installed or can old controller work with "normal" cores but with higher latency?
- If I install LLAPI core for some system can I still use normal USB controller if I want? If not, can I have many cores installed same time (e.g. NES LLAPI and "normal" NES core) and select the core based on controller I'm going to use?
- Can I use original controller and USB controller same time (e.g. player 1 has original SNES controller and player 2 has 8BitDo SN30 USB controller)?
- If I want to play single player games by using original controller, should the controller be always connected into some particular port? In other words, can I have e.g. NES and GENESIS controller connected all the time and pick the controller depending on the system I'm going to play?

Good Evening,
I am anticipating taking delivery of my MiSTer on Friday. I wanted to get my MircoSD card setup. I am a Linux desktop user. I used balenaEtcher to flash the latest mr-fusion image to said MicoSD card.
It has created a small partition, leaving most of the 128GB MicroSD card unallocated. Once I setup the MiSTer will it create a new partition with the remaining unallocated space for cores & ROMS?
I also purchased this kit - https://misteraddons.com/products/mister-bundles due to Amazon being out of stock of the DE-10 nano. The item describes a "Power Adapter" and "Power Supply". It does not state it comes a power supply. Did I overlook this? Will I need to hunt down a Power Supply for this?
Thank you in advance for your replies, I am excited to finally join this community.

Subject: Insane price aside, is there any FPGA out there that could in theory run 5th and even 6th gen consoles?
I know there's a PSX core being developed for MiSTeR but I don't think it could handle N64, or the insanity that is the Saturn's hardware
So what is out there? Idc if its more expensive than a car just wanted to know if it exists

Subject: Hey does anyone have a handy dandy "these common FPGA can roughly speaking support this given retro computer/console" summary of some kind ?
Context - I have a number of FPGA eval boards including XC6SLX9, Cyclone® V SE 5CSEBA6U23I7, Sundry Cyclone III etc. I am curious what works on what - seems for example a speccy would work on most of what I have so that might be attempted with some additional bits and bobs the newly manufactured clone case and kb I have.
Wondering if anyone has done a tabular summary of what is kinda the right "scale" on what ? Even a very rough LUT use table would be interesting ...

I am having trouble getting MegaCD to work. I am using an external HDD to host the roms. Can someone advise on what the folder structure should be, and where to place both the bios (bios.rom), and the cd bios file? Also, what names should I use for these 2 BIOS files? I am reading that EACH game should have a bios file in its own folder with the .cue & .bin files for each game. Is this the cd bios file? Thanks!

Subject: What's the difference between USB 1.2 and 2.1 hubs?
Just found out i have a 1.2 usb hub instead of a 2.1. All i can find difference wise is that the 2.1 has the 4 pins pre soldered to accept the newer usb bracket. Is that the only difference?

Subject: Thoughts on using emulation as content creator either Mister fpga/Analogue consoles
Hello all, What are your thoughts on using fpgagaming as content creator? I recently started gaming using emulation software & am looking to invest in hardware emulation solutions. When it comes to Mister looking forward to Neo Geo/Arcade Cores as I grew up in 90's & arcades were in decline most people had home consoles. Other than FPGA systems I also use RetroPie which is software emulation.

It's playable, but the flicker is jarring. Any way to fix this via core-specific settings?

Subject: MiSTer FPGA CPS1.5 SLAMMAST.zip Fails after 1 match with this error
Hadn't even plugged this thing in to AC since I remodeled my office. Wasn't sure it was still working. Relieved to find out it is.
Such a cool little box. Not as good as MiSTer, anymore... but without the MiST, we never would have gotten to MiSTer.
