New to torrents, I did a stupid thing and torrented a 30 gb paid self help/life coaching program just out of curiosity, WITHOUT using a vpn. I didn't seed, and just cancelled it halfway through, realistically what are the chances I will have any sort of consequences?

My ISP is iiNet Limited send me a letter or fine and throttle my speeds or will they not do anything?

A month ago I released news about two of my search engine projects on this subreddit. And it blew up big time. I saw so many people showing interest in my work and helping me better it in many ways.

I would like to express my gratitude to all of you for helping me reach over 17000 hits on Rave Game Search and 37000 hits on Rave Book Search. I'm hoping these numbers will keep increasing much much more as more people find the content they want to find.

Is there a way to find documents in general? Looking for a test bank that is out there, but hard to find. When I google a known question I only get hits on these sites.

I have mkvs that are Dolby Vision and HDR10 but when I play them I only get standard HDR. My setup is Q90R tv -> Q950A soundbar -> Shield tv pro. Soundbar is plugged into the tv, Shield is plugged into the soundbar. I'm using a WD My Passport external hdd.

The companies who output media love to say that piracy hurts creators, but it doesn't as much as they say it does. The creators get paid a wage, and if something makes a loss, they get fired and get another job. But the people who own the media, the investors, they fronted the capital to have the media made to begin with. They exploit the creators for their labour, sell it at a markup, and make a profit.

The creators of the media get paid all the same, but the profit margins that go to the capitalists, that's what gets reduced. I don't see any issue with cutting a non-labourers profits.

Am I the only one who get annoyed with a piracy forum that require a subscription in order to download pirated stuff from them? I know, you have to pay to get that pirated stuff, but the spirit of piracy isn't that.

How to remove them. Am on macOS and everything I can find is for windows. Tried a thing about editing the /private/etc/hosts file and the app stopped playing anything. Please do not say the answer is switching to windows I don’t like the bloatware and the design.
