It's so weird, try making a post with a mega link on your own profile and see it automatically get removed, and not even a full mega folder link, just https//mega-dot-nz is enough to get it deleted. Crazy. It happens in all my accounts idk about y'all.

When I checked qxr(mostly tigole) 4k movie releases, the resolution is 3840x1608, compared to other encoders which is 3840x2000+, why is that? and does it affect the quality when you play it to a 4K TV with 3840x2160 resolution?

Currently I'm running a headless JDownloader on my Debian VM to download stuff from Filehosters. Since a torrent-client is also running on the same machine I have had some trouble with my VPN that caused issues with My.JDownloader.

Long story short I could fix it but this problems happen way to often and also it being kind of slow. Therefore I would like to switch the Downloader Client. I've read myself into pyLoad and many said it's not as good as JDownloader.

So I thought maybe someone could share some personal reviews about pyLoad. I don't want to automatically unpack my stuff just download it. Since it's "only" in version 0.4.20 I'm a little worried that my packages are not downloaded correctly or shouldn't I worry about this?

I used this Chrome extension mid last year to download some DRM protected videos. But it seems like it's not working anymore. Does anyone know if its dead for sure or if there are any alternatives?

I've tried replacing the Widevine dll file and the sig file with an older version in my Chrome directory but that doesn't work either.. It just fails to load the video in the browser.

I was watching a film last week and paused it a bit to go to my desktop. Doing this I realised how the icon of Avast had a notification. I opened it and it turns out it had stopped a trojan. I immediately got out of Fmovies and haven't gone back to it ever since.

Has this happened to anyone? Do you know other trustworthy sites to watch movies/series? I saw in the megathread a few, but I'd trust more if someone who's used them recommends me one.

I accidentally found a way to get unlimited online tutoring for free through a website, while looking for homework solutions. I didnt have to enter any credentials and this is a definite loophole. This service I think is provided through a college, which is why its free, but its unlimited so I'm not sure what the catch is. It also appears as its not for students but provided to the college..

My question is apart from connecting to the service through normal wifi a couple of times and not thinking, then the rest through VPN, how likely is it that they can identify me. Other than finding out my general location and ISP, can they find out me personally. I tried connecting to the site with onion browser but didn't work. Other than that I use ublock, and dont allow any permission from the site other than cookies, and Javascript. Every session is incognito. I'm a noob, but need advice on how to cover my bases or if I already fucked up by using the site. North America.

I got the file through Utorrent, just finished downloading but I don't know how to install it. I've purchased a digital magazine/"e-book" from the Taiwanese website Pubu, and I'd like to download the images from it, but the only image files I can find with the developer tools are 220x400 pixels stored with amazon web services, which is way smaller than the actual images in the reader. Seems unlikely, but does anyone have a tool for ripping purchases from Pubu or know how to do it manually?

Just saw a website called "LitSolutions" from this tiktok video. It seem to have a large collection of engineering and math solution manuals and these step by step solutions, suspiciously, look pretty similar to the Chegg UI (you know what I'm sayin').

I found all my textbooks from this semester which is pretty cool and I wish I knew it before I pay monthly subscription to chegg itself. Anyways, just wanted to share with you all broke college students out there, enjoy.
