Subject: Noob here that needs help
Hello, im kinda new to this and havent pirated alot, but i resently got the Remux LOTR remaster version. Its two videofiles (disc 1 and disc 2) of the third movie, and ammounts to around 150 gb. I have the files on an external harddrive that i connect to my tv.
The video is 4k(3840x2160) and its a MKV File . But when viewing on my 4k HDR OLED tv, it still looks kinda crappy. Im not sure whether the files i got are compressed or something, or if im just being picky.
Maybe you just cant make a movie that old look as good as todays movies, or did i expect to much?

Subject: Porntrex on mobile. Adblock=no 4K toggle?
So I somehow only recently found out about sites that now stream 4K and porntrex was one of them. However, I noticed that while I was on Safari (Adblock/AdGuard active), I can only toggle 4K labeled videos up to 1080p. Not knowing Adblock could be the reason I went on chrome IOS (no Ad-Blocker s) and was welcomed to a endless stream of ads and the 4K toggle option. So then I toggled my AdGuard to DNS protection and when I reopened chrome, the 4K toggle ceased to appear even after I turned off the DNS protection. The option came back only after I clear the browsing data for the last hour of when I turned on DNS protection. So I came to the conclusion that 4K would be disableed if Adblock was active on the browser (either being detected or it blocked something that would enable 4K) any ideas what kind of workaround can be done? Like add an exception or something?

Subject: 1080p X265 HVEC file size per hour
I'm looking at a show, and have been possibly downloading the 1080p 264 webrips which are around 3-4Gb per hour. This seems somewhat high to me, considering a 2hr movie usually seems to be 4-7Gbish?
The 1080p 265 options are around 400-700Mb for an hour. So about 1/6th the size.
I know that there isn't a hard ratio of compression efficiency, because the file size will be highly dependent on what the actual video contains, and that bitrate will vary ect...
But is there any rules of thumb for what a good file size/hr or bitrate I should look for for 265? What about 264?
I know 265 is really not very popular for 1080, because of the hardware requirements and diminishing returns. I haven't given the 265 options a shot for this show because the small file size makes me think they'll be way over compressed, and that they're only really meant for those with space limitations or those with boners for the smallest files that can find.
I'm not really that space constrained, I have a several TBs available, but I also have plenty of processing power that should make 265 a breeze, so I would prefer 265 if available at a similar quality.
Subject: Ready or Not cracked with working mp.
Discovered this yesterday accidentally. It seems Ready Or Not alpha torrents utilize Spacewar into tricking steam it's a legit multiplayer game, so when attempting to public matchmake you ARE actually matched with other players of the same torrent. Steam overlay, invites, and VOIP are all working. Thought it was interesting as I've always had to use a tool like Hamachi for pirated multiplayer. Very good to know if you aren't interested in paying the $100 supporter edition to guarantee an early key.

Subject: File organizer with p2p?
I was wondering if it existed a software like a bittorrent and file organizer mix that makes a checksum of the files in the folders you indicate and shares all of them via p2p, and lets you find files from other people that do the same. And then you can tag and organize the files you have so that there is no seeding problems as people are going to keep the files seeding as long as they want to keep them tagged and organized. And then you can sort and filter the files by the metadata.
