Subject: Codex folder is empty
I downloaded horizon zero dawn codex, mounted the disc image file, ran the setup, it all worked fine it downloaded everything, except the codex folder is empty so there is no crack to copy into the game folder, as expected the game doesn't run. I had Mcafee on, I looked at the McAfee logs but it didn't 'quarantine' any files, it did block a bunch of connections source being my own IP address, but I don't know if that means it blocked the codex setup or something unrelated. I just don't understand what happened any help would be appreciated. kind of a nowbie so maybe something really obvious.

The majority of sports streaming websites buffer a lot and provide low quality streams. They work just fine but I've been able to find acestream links for all sports except football. It seems nobody but ESPN runs NCAAF and was wondering if anyone knew where I could find more acestream IDs

Subject: Help Screen Recording from NowTV App in Android Emulation
Help me, beautiful nerds!
I'm trying to screen record something from the NowTV app, which Sky Media uses for their UK TV content. I've got a subscription active and a VPN running that allows me to successfully stream the content using the desktop app, but they have blocked screen recording from said app. I read online that the way to circumvent this is to open their Android app within Android Studio, their developer emulation platform.
I've got the app running in there, VPN running, emulated device location set to London—but for some reason, it's still saying "Sorry NOW content cannot currently be viewed in this country" every time I try to get something going. There is somewhere within the emulation that is either sending wrong location info or narcing on my actual location info.
I have tried everything I can think of, from running the VPN on the emulated device itself, to turning off fake wifi and trying fake data... but nothing works. When I look for my public IP in the browser, it is successfully bringing back the VPN IP that works within the desktop Now app. However I did also notice that the emulated device is set to automatically get time zone info from the network and it thinks it should be in EST not GMT. (I've also tried manually changing the time zone to GMT, didn't work).
Any ideas? Or alternate ways to successfully screen record content on NowTV.com? Either would be MUCH much appreciated.
Subject: Piracy TV (Remove If Not Allowed)
Hey guys I just wanted to share this for others out there
I was gifted a Chromebook and didn't really use it much bc well its a Chromebook and chrome os sucks but I recently installed Linux onto it and I can run an android TV VM on it and well you know pirate stuff bc that's what you do with an android tv box. it was an easy process its caps out at 1080p but for me, that's not a problem. Many good tutorials on YT and if you do it here's a place to download the apps on android tv VM Here btw Reddit works on android TV os
Subject: Nord VPN or Surfshark VPN? Context in post text
As the title says. I hear nord is one of the best and if has a deal for a year, but for a similar price you can get surfshark for 2 years, which I also hear is one of the better VPNs. What I intend to use them for mainly goes without saying by the subreddit I'm posting in. So my criteria doesn't go far beyond torrenting security and speed. Thanks

Subject: Kung Fu The Legend Continues Seasons 3 and 4
Hello, just wondering if anybody on here knows anyplace to find Seasons 3 and 4 of Kung Fu The Legend Continues. All I can find is a horrible US tvrip on public sites.
dvdplanetstore sells dvds of them, but not sure if they are just the same torrents
I have another collection of German HD rips and was planning on inserting the English audio, but I've only done one episode so far and there are some parts of the English episodes missing of dialogue, so episode 1 is incomplete. Hopefully the rest of the episodes aren't like that.

so I had a conversation with some of my family members about why they pay for a Netflix subscription when they can instead download whatever movies they want for free from piracy sites, even when I told them that they can get movies like spider -man nwh for free they still insisted on using Netflix
I legit downloaded squid game for them all in 1080p with subtitles so they can watch the show anywhere they want, yet the don't wanna just because "piracy is theft"

Subject: Best way to make my NAS a server for streaming and ad-blocking?
My brother and I are building our own NAS (instead of buying a prebuilt one like Synology).
We want to use it as a home server (for backups and the like) as well as a streaming server (using Plex) and for torrenting movies etc. We won't be running any sort of complicated operations on it (e.g. virtualization for software development).
I ran into this guide The complete guide to building your personal self hosted server from this subreddit. It seems to be exactly what we need to configure the NAS the way we want. But there are also services out there, that theoretically do the same:
- TrueNAS CORE
My question is - how do they differ from the guide? If I can achieve everything the guide suggests, why won't I use one of these services instead of working hard and configuring all myself?
** I'm not saying the guide is bad, or offers less than the services I listed, it probably even offers more versatility. I'm saying I don't know. What would be the easier/better option for us?
** This is our build, we have a NVMe for OS/software and 2 HDDS for storage/backup.
