Inclusion is nice, but the majority of people isnt deaf. HI subs are annoying af, especially on OLED TVs. When a scene is dark and atmospheric subtitles kill the mood with how bright they are. Thats why I want as few subs as possible.

The people who do the releases already have the HI-subs, why dont they just remove everything in parentheses via replace all in notepad++ or something. Its a few seconds of work. Once they merge the file in an mkv its too late to do much about it. At least in a few seconds.

I feel like this should be a convention. At least in the language of whatever country you are in and the original language of the content.
