It’s from a course website. I have access to the site as I paid for it. On the site, naturally I can stream it. Sadly, it’s one of the first times I’m fully incapable of downloading. No application or extension that I have tried works.

Is there anyway download the videos? Looking at the source code, I realized it was protected with Vdocipher.

My first through would be the only way would be to screen record, but if possible I’d much rather download the video.

Any suggestions? I would be eternally grateful.

(Noob question incoming) I installed some free antivirus before downloading some cracked software and nothing was flagged up, although one .exe was kind of suspicious. I’ve deleted it and since then, I’ve used avast, malwarebytes, and hitmanpro to check that there’s nothing hidden on my computer and everything seems clean. What are the odds of something being able to avoid all of these AVs?

I don't know if this is the right place to post this but, I have a bunch of remux movies that i like to demo. I would like to extract the best scenes from movies, Gravity, Mad Max Fury Road, John Wick, Ready Player One, etc.. and compile them into at TV style format for Plex. Retaining full quality with the TrueHD and DTS X audio. It would be easier than scrolling my library, selecting movie, skipping to scene, and onto the next. I would organize it in Plex as so.

I need to install windows in a new PC I just got and decided to download generation2's windows 10 DEC2021 torrent.

The torrent is named Windows 10 X64 21H1 Pro 3in1 OEM ESD en-US DEC 2021 {Gen2}

Once the torrent is fully downloaded, the main content folder is called 67.ThePirateBay.ORG which is kind of suspicious...

The files inside that folder are:

a data.dat, a zip named "Setup (password is THEPIRATEBAY007)" which contains a Setup.exe and a txt called "read how to install" which has steps for the installatin + information about the uploader's account which seems to be ALITPB.. not GEN2

Seems really weird since there's no ISO file and that I have to run an exe to mount a bootable ISO in a usb stick...

Hello, i would like to download a book i rented on vitalsource as pdf.
I checked some of the previous posts about this in the subreddit, i found one ripping app but it also requested money itself and cant pay for it sorry so q1) is there any way to crack that app or any other app that can do ripping?
If there is no apps to do it i heard there is some scripts to do it, i tried one myself but couldnt make it work, i wonder if i used outdated scripts and apps or something and if there is something new that works. Chanches are the other script also works and i just couldnt make it work as i have basically no experience with scripts, so if scripts are the way to do it i would appreciate if someone can help me when using them.
Lastly im willing to donwload all images one by one if there is any way to do it thats not taking low resolution screenshots, like in some sites i used to do ctrl + u and find the images there and download them but couldnt do it in VitalSource.

I've got plenty of experience downloading movies. Have a good VPN, use qbittorrent and stick to the more trusted dl sites. But I have no experience downloading PC games. It's software, which I generally don't download anymore because of the likelihood of viruses/trojans/keyloggers etc. Any good guides on here about how to do it safely that someone could point me to? Quite literally every movie streaming site I use has to option to put on closed captions, but they don't actually show up at all. It wasn't an issue a few days ago, so I'm not sure how to fix the issue. I've checked the settings, different browsers, and nothing works! I'm not really sure what to do, so any help would be appreciated.
