Just moved to Washington, D.C. As I have spent my whole life using torrent, it's getting hard for me to stay without using it.
Any suggestions on how to use it safely? I heard I might get arrested for using torrent as I am an international student.

Subject: Found a way to bypass Mega download limit apparently?
Was downloading the last of us ps3 version with JDownloader through Mega, it did make me lose a lot of time considering its divided in 74 parts. Tried with Megabasterd but it works and doesn't randomly.
However I noticed that JDownloader lets you finish the files you already started downloading. So I gave it a try and started downloading the remaining parts at the same time. Even after reaching the 5 hours bandwith limit all the files were STILL downloading.
Just to be sure I tried to stop one part only and resume it and it did say limit got reached - while other files are being worked on.
Basically you could start the download for every file you need to download from there and even though its going to be slower than usual you won't have to wait another 5h or deal with the stress of switching between vpn servers (which as far as i know it doesn't bypass it anymore on jdownloader).

Subject: Will the owner/uploader of these videos be notified if I screen record?
I signed up for some educational courses and while I have no intent to distribute anything I download, I really just want them saved for offline use, but obviously for some understandable reasons, the owner/uploader wouldn't really want that. It seems that they've used Vdocipher for hosting their videos. I recognize the player since one of my favorite podcast also hosts with that.
Anyway, I don't know if the uploader was fear mongering and scaring people into not recording the videos, but he said that he'd find out if you attempt to download or screen record the lessons. Is that possible? Can I not just load up Quicktime player on my Mac, hit the screen record option, and voila, there's my version of the video? Can Vdocipher or some other program he has 'detect' that I'm screen recording and notify him?

Subject: Downloading movies for the first time in a while
Just downloaded HP Collection from 1337x. I have all of the files but have no idea how to combine a MKV file with the corresponding audio file titled "AC3." (Which is also over 6 hours long per film) I have searched the FAQs and guides, may have missed the answer but I came up empty handed. Any help would be appreciated

Hey guys,
I am quite a noob at pirating movies, so I kind of have a silly question. Often, I see that there are multiple audiocodecs for the same movie. From what I can find, DTS is considered the best one. When I download a movie that has DTS, do I need to additional software to 'decode' it or can I just play it as I would normally?
Thank you in advance.

New to pirating and I know you definitely want a VPN. However I don’t know if there are any good cheap VPNs out there.
Any advice?

Pretty much the title. I’ve been running in to wicked buffering from Fmovies for about a week. Other sites legal or otherwise haven’t had any issues.

Subject: Why is it so hard to find complete series torrents of newer Nickelodeon shows?
Any Nickelodeon show released after Avatar The Last Airbender is very difficult to find high quality complete series torrents for, most I can find is singular episode torrents.
Stuff from the late 2000s and early to mid 2010s are a nightmare to find downloads for, like, I understand that was an era in which Nickelodeon shows were in low demand due to public opinion, but still

I work as a projectionist at a movie theater and I have access to a HD file of No Way Home. There's probably others like me, so why isn't this file out there?

Subject: Do y'all think people who pay for a streaming service should have access to the files of whatever they watch?
It's so stupid. It's essentially the same as having a subscription for YouTube. All of these should be free.
No more needs to be said, don't wanna feed the algorithm with my fingers

I know that ExpressVPN's parent company was once a pretty shady company, I don't know if it's still a good company to put any trust in now, can someone tell me if I should still use it?

Subject: So I recently downloaded a file from monkrus and did a scan to make sure it was legit. I was wondering if these were genuinely a concern or if it is just a false positive.
