I have been watching a bunch of silent films lately so i wanted to find a collection of charlie chaplins best work but i cant really find anything there is one on the piratebay but it mostly has documentary's in it thank you.

So I sorta knew about how people play around with VPN s and exchange rates but only recently have I learned how much I personally have been screwed over by this, I'm from Israel and for some reason all of the games are far more expensive for us, for an example death stranding, a game that's 60$ in the US, is 329₪ here, that's a bit more than 100$, this is the most absurd case and all of the other AAA 60$ games are 250₪, which is like 78 dollars, which is still wild. It's similar with indie games like hades which is 25$ US and 29$ in Israel, or inscription that's 20$ in the US and 23.7$ in Israel, I'm just befuddled by this, I understand not wanting ugly numbers for marketing purposes, and even rounding up when you can, but a 25% mark up for every game? That's just bullshit

This is mostly a venting post with three attached question: 1. Why is it like this? I'm curious for insight. 2. Should I start a steam is antisemitic campaign or is that in poor taste? 3. Is there any way to get around this? I realize I'm basically going to a piracy subreddit to ask how to buy games, but this is gray territory and I feel like people will keep it cool over here.

I find just confusing information. Could the books on OpenLibrary.org enter on the categorie of private copie?? (doubt it but tell me if it is the case) If not, could just some of the donors own the copyright?? How do I recognize that if it is the case??

Does anyone know of any subreddits outside of this one (or forums or discord group i'm not picking just assumed a sub would be the easiest place to start) where you can make requests? a dedicated place or general is fine, i'm not picky i'm just hunting for one specific show.

Is there any public tools or scripts that may be able to rip audio from such a website in bulk without the need of manually ripping each track or chapter one by one? Any suggestions or pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Alright, I’ve finally cracked. I’m looking to get started with some small stuff like music but I know how the internet works. You can’t just type “torrent” and suddenly get cracked copies of exactly what you want, so what are some good sites for the essentials?

Any NF file I get, movie/series, There’s always the same issue, Plays for 10ish seconds, the skips/pauses, and plays away for another few seconds,

I’ve tried a few different usb sticks(sandisk 2.0/3.1 , verbatim) and my own 4th wd hdd, And different release versions of the files, always the same.

No issues with bdrios,hbo,Hulu etc,webrips

Even the “Texas” one day, does it, I’ve a Samsun 2018 49" Q6F ,

4K movies(20gb) play perfect even, it’s very odd.
