Hey everyone I'm new to this subreddit. I've seen that whenever there's a film released on a streaming service or as VOD the good quality torrent files start passing through different websites. But can never understand how do people first convert these videos into offline data that they use for uploading. So if someone can explain to me that would be really appreciated 🙏🏽.

I was searching for a show, it didn't give any response, then I specifically searched for a show I knew was in the popular tab, and it still didn't show any results.

Got something with .apk and obb files in a folder. A couple of questions:

1. Google says the obb files need to be in "/sdcard/Android/obb" folder. What if my phone doesn't have a card? My phone's 125gb storage, more than enough to play a few games.
2. After installation, can I delete the obb files? Are they install files that is unnecessary after the game installs? Or are they actual game files that's needed to run the game? What about the .apk file, can that be deleted after game install?

When i play free games like destiny 2 and pubg,csgo i don't feel nauseous but when i play pirated games i feel nauseous is it just me? I can play botw just fine which is emulated

I know a source for classical music, and I know musescore is alright in a pinch, but I'm looking for some place that happens to have a certain transcriber's music that I'm sure you heard of. They're available on mymusicsheet but he at some point deleted all his sheet music and reuploaded them behind a paywall.

i got hold of a download code for coldplay's MOTS album and redeeming the code took me to a plain looking link that could be copied and saved, but taking the filename off the link took me to a plain white page with just the word placeholder. the link itself is

and then the filename (artistnamealbumtitle.zip) all lowercase. is there an easy way to scan and determine if there are any other albums i could get without having to look for other dl codes or try bruteforcing filenames?

If possible please how to do it?

I usually use small sites like yts.mx and others where there isn't more than 1 torrent per movie. However recently I went to download a show on my usual go to torrenting sites but it was not there. Long story short, why tf is there so many options on rarbg and how do I know whether a torrent contains what I am looking for or contains malware.

Hello I reinstalled my OS and installed cyberpunk with dodi repack. I solved one error by updating driver but even after trying other versions of proton I get this output in log and message that cyberpunk has flatined:

Newest update of cyberpunk, tried some flags from protondb and even played sound in background while the game was starting. Always the same result

Let's say I distribute a software for free, and that software, while not specifically made for piracy, can be used to, say, steal games from Steam or something (example - I know this won't work). The software was never made with this intent, and it was an unintentional side effect. Is this illegal, or against any laws? I know Reddit isn't the best place to ask this.

I'm in a channel that uploads pirated videos, so I wanted to download them as a backup in case they ever get removed. But most of the videos do not have a download option and when I try "Save video as" this is what it looks like.

A few videos on the channel however, are mp4 and I can download them. Any advice to solve the issue?
