I'm brazilian, so as most of you know, piracy is part of my blood and I can't live without it. However, piracy in Brazil is too easy, so I've never needed to study about VPN before.

Today I'm moving to South Korea. A quick google already gave me goosebumps. Censorship, ISP providing info to government, government spying through https and people going to jail because of political tweets. Bizarre...

Because of that I've been reading previous posts about VPN recommendations and etc. I already have a good idea. What I wanted to ask here is if there's any VPN recommendation specifically for South Korea. Does anyone know if the quality of a VPN depends on where you are using it from? And if it does matter, what VPN would be recommended to use in Korea?

I have used microsoft edge, chrome, and opera as my browser but it will always say the same thing "site cant be reached" is there I need to do before I can access it? please help

I have literally found not a single way to actually download this game. The one thing I HAVE found that wasn't literally just a exe file said to look at the readme for a code I needed but the readme was nonexistend.

They let you read finished Webtoon's only one episode per day, and if you want to read more you have to pay in coins which are pretty expensive.

I'm Iranian, and today some monkeys in the parlament decided to pass a law limitting the internet instead of throwing poop at each other, something that fits their general level of intelligence better.

I'm an avid reader and usually use Library Genesis and z-lib to download the English e-books I want to read. I'm worried that in the future I'm not going to have access to these websites. So, are there large packages of e-books or a way to download a lot of e-books at once?

I already have a few thousand books in my Calibre library. Many of the books in there are from a series of book packages I found on The Pirate Bay in the past called Fantasy and Science Fiction pack or something. I like fiction, almost in every genre except romance. Epub is better, but other formats are fine to, I'll just convert them.

I have a nice idea in mind but I don't understand enough off everything to know what the best things would be. I would like to make a media and picture server with a catch.

• I want to install Plex, or something similar, for streaming movies or series. I need it to be able to handle 3/4 streams of 1080p at the same time or 3 4k streams at the same time.

• I want to be able to back up my pictures and view them

I want to make an IMDB page where I can add series/movies and that it will download it automatically in the right quality and folder with the right subtitles.

• It would be nice to add camera footage later on but not needed now.

• I would like to keep it as power efficient as possible.

Before I can start with all of this I could really use some help with what components I might need. Would it be better to build my own NAS? Or to have a prebuild NAS? Also downloading movies and streaming them could be illegal, how would I make sure I wont run into any issues regarding that topic?

Do I need to have a setup to make sure I wont do anything that can be easily traced back? Also is a torrent seedbox something I should look into?

Anyways if anyone has any answers it would be greatly appreciated, I also crossposted this to NAS and PleX but so far no one has really had any answers or recommendations for the hardware. Here's to hoping any of you do!

I’m trying to get a PDF saved from StuDocu without creating a premium account. I’ve tried saving the webpage, printing, even copying and pasting the text but can’t seem to get the right content. Short of screenshotting each page, anyone have any tips to save from StuDocu? I’ve searched the subreddit for some guides but can’t seem to find any.

Hello, as you can see on the screenshot google chrome consumes a lot of my cpu(i was only watching a video on youtube in 1080p), now i know that there's probably going to have people telling me that it's because of my specs, but no it's not, i don't have the best specs but they're not bad, i can run almost every game i want to at medium settings!

So i wondering what browser is the best in security and performance!

I followed all the rules. I prepped for the interview. I used my home internet connection. I queued up with the link to the screenshot of my speedtest. Within 15 minutes I was kicked off and my address banned for not queueing up. I have no idea what went wrong or what mistake I may have made. Is that ban permanent, or is there any way to appeal or question what happened? Or, am I just shit out of luck for redacted?
