Many years ago when I was a child, I bricked the family computer by trying to download music off limewire. Since then, I have avoided the digital pirate sea out of fear. Also, out of incompetence. I want that to change tonight, but I need your help.

The spoils I am after is one of nostalgia - an old PS2 game I couldn't beat as a kid (Robinhood Defender of the Crown). I have found a few copies of it available on the Internet Archive (is it still considered piracy if it's on there?) I am currently stuck trying to determine which to download as neither have any posted reviews. The only difference is size of the download (1gig vs 6gig). What should I do to determine the safe one to download?

Also, I'm not sure but I think I probably need some sort of launcher to play it. What launcher would you all recommend I download to play games from IA?

linux noob here, I have tried installing zepret but it doesnt seem to work. Any help regarding its installation will be appreciated. changing my DNS from openDNS to nextDNS helps me access the websites i want. but websites like youtube become a lot slower when loading videos.

I was reluctant to uninstal Adobe Premier Pro and Media Encoder, even though I only use Magix Vegas Pro.

It wasn't easy to rid my system of Adobe Apps. Although, Revo Uninstaller supposedly cleared all leftovers, I had to take ownership of multiple folders and individual files before I could remove them. Even then, Adobe was still plentiful in the Register.

I wonder if I should go ahead and reinstall updated Adobe Acrobat.

With the recent demise of our fellow matey (Zlib), shouldn't we be discussing what our fallback would be if this sub gets the boot?

I joined reddit and gained intellectualism about the epicness of privaycy and so i commited my first piracy i downloaded cyperpunk 2077 from the goggle for the free (very nice website) the whole game setup exe downloaded in only 2 mins compared to hours it would have takken on the steams so i ranned it and quick heal (ANTVIRUS) displayed trojan waring but i am smart due to the reddits and igorned it becuz it was Safe fp(from goggle) BUT NOW COMPUTER run very slow cyperpunk also not showing 😕 iwanted to play and make youtube video but it not work help i am very techy so coding (like sctrach and github and FreT minecraft knowned). HELP PLZ

as said above, i tried using some of the streaming sites that i use on my desktop pc on my smart tv but had no luck as of yet.

Most of the time they don't load, othertime they load but you can't really interact with the site.

Is there anything to be done about this?
