It works well when it works but holy shit it never works on Windows

I live in a rural area and can't get a proper terrestrial ISP. I've got an unlimited data plan, and my PC is disguised as my phone via TTL/hop limit, so throttling is not an issue. I generally get pretty decent speeds, but I'm just curious if there are any Android settings or techniques I should be aware of to squeeze one or two more connections out of the sparse torrents through a mobile hotspot. I have no router or anything between the phone's hotspot and the PC's wifi dongle.

Windows 10 Pro key

I recently had to buy a new mini PC and after about a month of working fine, an "Activate Windows" watermark appeared at the lower *right hand side of the screen. Windows activation troubleshooting says "We can't activate Windows on this device right now. You can try activating again later or go to the Store to buy genuine Windows. (0xc0000022)." I attempted to use CMD as admin to find the key and "change product key" but nothing would come up. I then found the BackupProductKeyDefault in regedit and it also did not work.

This PC was advertised as coming with W10p installed which it is, but is this just a trial period or something? The company that made it just keeps telling me to copy\paste the "wmic path SoftwareLicensingService get OA3xOriginalProductKey" in CMD and nothing came up. Then they said there should be spaces in the Software Licensing Service portion and it still didn't work.

Am I getting f'd over by this company and if so is there a place to get a working W10P key w\o paying $200? That's more than the PC cost to begin with.

So I resently installed my very first FitGirl repack.

Within a day of the install I noticed some unusual activity on my PC.

I have an "AMD advantage" marketed laptop (basically just means it has an AMD CPU and an AMD GPU, and has to meet some minimum requirements on keyboard/screen/trackpad quality). While monitoring AMD's "Armoury Crate" I noticed my GPU was at 99% usage at idle (no games running or even apps). I try to end that process, it starts up again immediately. In task manager i noticed its also using >40% of CPU.

Did a full reset, issue is gone.

I can only imagine this may be one of those Crypto miner adware I've heard about. I'm 99% certain it came from installing the repack.

For the record, it was the Elden Ring repack listed on Fitgirl's own site (i got to the site using the FreeMediaHeckYeah wiki).

I've heard such good things about Fitgirl and their apparent trustworthiness. Im really disappointed.

As the title said, getting my first smart TV, do not know much about the streaming services people use apart from they probably cost. Wondering if there are any 3rd party services or devices I can connect to the TV so I can just watch stuff for free? Thanks.

I just want to remove the DRM from the PDF. I dont have rights to the file.

Tried the Tetrachroma_FileOpen_ineptpdf DRM removal in this thread (apprenticeharper), and followed instructions and changed the FileOpen build in line 2285 to 998 (current FileOpen build). I tried using the ineptpdf_8.4.51.pyw tool prior to installing FileOpen on my PC, and when I pressed decrypy, the error read

"Error: Cannot find FowP3Uuid in registry or file. Did Adobe (Reader) open the pdf file?".

Now I have installed the FileOpen plugin and the error message on ineptpdf changed to

"Document acess denied. You have already registered your quota of devices".

Is there a way around this? If anyone has suggestions, I appreciate the help. Thanks!

I'm basically trying to use skyline, but it needs the prod.keys and the other keys which you only get from an actual nintendo switch. I'm wondering if there's some emulator on Android that doesn't need you to actually but a switch to also emulate it, basically fully free?

Hey everyone, I was using g4u as a main source of digitally dropped usb sticks which happen to have games on them. Problem is, my only way of paying someone to pick up said usb stick is paypal. My friends mr. ddownload and mrs. rapidgator all of a sudden refuse to accept paypal. I preferred using g4u instead of for example brother dodi because there you can find games in early access as well. If you can recommend me new friends I'd appreciate it very much!

The way the instructions are given at first was a little confusing.
Not in terms what I’m supposed to do but rather just how they’re given. Either way, I manage to get through most of the process however, towards the end when having to codesign the pro_disp_service file I receive….

Resource fork, finder information, or similar detritus not allowed.

Other than the possibility of viruses, is there any risks in having pirated games and software on your computer? Can these software communicate with their publishers servers or something and send your information? Is there any other risks or precautions one should take?

I know to use a VPN when torrenting, I'm specifically asking about having the software on your computer and the risks associated with using it.

Seen a few helpful posts here about iptv but nothing relevant for me. We’ve had the service for about 3 months now, no problems, most shows I’ve searched for available to watch on demand. But the last month I’ve found nothing new seems to be updating, as in new things are showing up but, for example a show that’s been released on Netflix weeks ago still isn’t available to watch. Is this normal? Gutted there now seems to be loads of things I can’t get
