Subject: What happened to Crackwatch2.com
Okay, so here is the story (cw2 developer here, DM for proof):
CW2 was a legit open source project of mine (and still is, im still working on it privately). I made it mostly for myself, but my friend said that the UI is pretty cool and I should try to promote it on reddit. so we/I did.
make sure to change your passwords
All your passwords are hashed with a salt. To crack it, it would take me more than the lifetime of the universe using current cpus. DM me for proof
Why did I take it down then:
As I said in the beginning, I started this project with the mindset that I would only use it myself so I didn't think about any legal, DMCA things that could happen when hosting a public crackwatch website.
So when the site started getting traffic. After my friend posted in this sub. A few days later, in the evening, I suddenly started getting anxiety and really thought that I could get in legal trouble or getting some kind of DMCA and im not even 18. I have literally 0 experience how the copyright law works and if this project of mine is 100% legal. Therefore, I have decided that currently I don't feel comfortable hosting this project and when I was scared that evening I deleted everything, even my reddit lol.
New features that I added
fully custom thread system with comments (reddit clone basically) 80% done,
manual editing, done but without UI, I need to manually edit the database
And you can dm me if you don't believe anything said here
Got scared that I could have legal problems with hosting this project and I took it down. And I was really scared so I even deleted my reddit account which I regret as of now.
Subject: How to open BDMV files?
And I'm not talking about mounting a disk. I'm talking about the files you download that contain the components of the disc, like m2ts files (content), disk organization information (BDMV), and other such things.
I've heard to use MPC (HC) to play the movieobject.bdmv, but it doesn't work. I've also tried playing the largest m2ts files 9which is typically the main feature compared to the much smaller other m2ts files. I've also tried VLC. I might be missing something technical with MPC, as there is complexity to it.
This would allow me to play blue ray files that account for a lot of torrents, and I think blue ray is batter quality gig for gig. Thank you.

I used to tell people to "google 'bookz'" because a guide was always among the top search results for that on the major search engines, but it seems like this no longer is the case.
The search "ebooks irc" works, but I think if mentioned in a spoken conversation the letters "irc" would easily be forgotten by someone who hasn't heard the acronym before.

So i bought a new laptop and wanted to activate office through MAS, now i accidentally used the kms38 to activate windows.. does this matter? Have i lost my key? Should i change to HWID?
Its a laptop which has the license key in the motherboard. So reinstalling shouldn’t be a problem since it grabs the key from there i believe.
Subject: Some program to download albums from Cyberdrop
There are several programs especially on Github based on different languages or environments (.NET, Python, Json) but either they are really slow (an average of 60kb/s having a download of 40mb/s) or they don't download all the files or in some cases they leave the files corrupted and unable to read them. Is there any other method to download albums quickly? I don't care if I have to go 1 by 1.
some of the programs I've used;
Subject: A Piratebay proxy still knows some of my searches from years ago?
I don't know where else to ask, but after a long time i found myself on the pirateproxy again. There i found out that when i try to enter my search, it still shows me entries i searched for years ago, probably when i was still using Chrome (I'm on Brave now).
It's certainly not showing ALL the stuff i searched there, which was a lot back then, but just an odd selection. I've seen this before on some shady porn websites and VERY old forums. Brave deletes my history and cookies every day, so i'm a bit puzzled at how this is possible?
My tech savvy friend thinks it might be form data from chrome that got imported to brave when i switched?
Subject: When downloading 4k tv shows. Is it impossible to know if it's HDR or SDR if the title doesn't say?
Just like the title says. Ive been downloading multiple versions left and right because I cant figure out if something is HDR or not. My pc monitors are with too dark with HDR content, but 4k is wayyy better than 1080p, in something filmed not drawn. I see a lot of 4k content that doesn't say HDR and when i compare it to a a 1080p version I see that everything's dark on the 4k version, meaning HDR. And sometimes it doesnt say anything and when I compare it, it ends up being SDR. Is there really no other way, then downloading it and checking after?
