Subject: Torrenting: Can someone patiently explain its benefits to me?
I watch anime using animixplay. The quality there is better than my standard Netflix subscription and it has every single anime that I can think of or I have ever heard of. There are practically no ads (and I use AdBlock anyway). The UI is to my liking. The quality feels great to me.
Now, I've heard about torrenting. Never tried it and don't know much about it. My takeaway about torrenting is: People push it as a superior way of watching anime and say that it has better quality. The higher quality is the only thing about torrenting that I might care about. BUT, isn't torrenting essentially just downloading episodes? What if I decide to watch something like One Piece? How am I supposed to download all that? And doesn't it take time to download (while Animixplay is instantaneous for me)? How am I supposed to have enough space for even a few seasons? And people also say that torrenting lets you keep the episodes locally on your device, but that isn't appealing. Like, I'm not obsessed with shows enough to watch them every single day or something. I just watch them once and maybe re-watch em after a long time. I can just stream that, right? So what is the real benefit then? There are also risks like getting viruses. I'm from India so I won't even need a VPN (right?), but is torrenting actually worth my time as a busy student? Or is it just something pushed around by 'elite' pirates. (I can probably share an anime clip from animixplay so that y'all could tell em if the quality is considerably lower than torrent quality)

Subject: Does anybody know how to torrent crypto currency.
I really want to torrent some Bitcoin but I can’t find the torrent for it. I promise I won’t tell anyone else if somebody gives me the torrent. My friend on steam told me he made 0.3 BTC in 1 day. I have fast internet so it should be easy for me to torrent the BTC. Also how do I transfer it to my wallet when I have it downloaded to my PC. I have a VPN already btw.

Subject: Large sets of movies without finding each individually?
I may be going an extended period without internet soon and wanted to get a solid supply of movies ready on a hard drive or 2, but really don't want to search for each movie individually. I was wondering if anyone knew of any sources for just large sets of movies? Stuff like "collection of modern action movies" or "top 50 best selling fantasy movies" or even just an uploaders personal collection, stuff like that. Just ways to get a lot of half decent movies without individually searching for specific titles. Weird request, I know. But I can't be the only person on earth who's thought something like this could be a useful idea lol.

Subject: Spotify Playlist Auto-downloader/Updater?
I know this definitely doesn't exist in a standalone environment, but I'm looking for a solution to automatically download and search for updates on my spotify playlists routinely. For example, If I add a song to a playlist it will automatically download it. I'd like to run this on a Raspberry Pi4 server just running Pi OS. I'm pretty new to linux and spotify rippers in general so I have no clue if this is possible. TIA!

Subject: Are there any torrent trackers for releases on audioz?
I've been downloading from audioz with rapidgator and uploaded speed capped at 100 KBps or so, and although it's annoying, it works. Sometimes there are zippyshare mirrors which are great because if you have an adblock, zippyshare allows you to download at full speed.
But I was wondering, are there any torrent trackers for releases on audioz?
I know r2r releases can be found on rutracker but for other releaes, I haven't found anything yet.
Subject: Newbie to Dolby Atmos. How do I play movies with full effect?
Hello! We are planning to buy a soundbar with Dolby Atmos and I would like to know the following:
Can I play the torrented movie via USB connected to the TV?
If not, how does the Plex app work? Could I leave the movie in the USB and play it that way? Or does it have to be via a server?
If the latter, please help me with an ELI5 explanation or reading material on how to set his up.
- Do any torrent labelled as Dolby Atmos automatically play as such?
Subject: DRM bypass tools?
I'd like to find a way to record or download movies from streaming services I pay for (don't worry corporate defenders, they're still getting my money) I'm going to be temporarily moving to basically the middle of nowhere and I don't think there are any actually viable internet providers that I'd be able to afford. But I'm a huge movie person and would enjoy having a few favorites that I either just don't have or can't find physical copies of.
