Hello, just wondering if someone out there has a Pro Video Post startup serial number, etc. I have all the original disks, manuals, etc... but seems I don't have the serial. My intent is to just have something I can do "true" retro graphics etc with.

Any advice or a workable code, etc?

I recently stumbled upon an Amiga 1200, barely used, and thought it needed saving.

I'm fairly new to the amiga. Where should I start after a recap, and buying a CF card and adapter for it to get games and software running on it?

Hi so I bought a competition pro usb stick to go with my pi 400 setup with pimiga. I can move fine but I can not get the fire buttons to actually be the fire buttons. For instance in captain planet I can not shoot but pressing one of the buttons jumps.

I have tried many things, any ideas guys? thanks

I used to play this game, almost 100% sure it was on the Amiga (rather than my C64) where you were supposed to control this jumping car. It was not `Stunt Car Racer`, although that had a car that had to "jump".

In my memory, the game was isometric and you had to drive this very cartoony car around and jump over obstacles and from one hill to another.

I know that I came back to the game again and again, so it was probably pretty good. But I haven't been able to find any screenshot of it.

Does this ring any bells for anyone?

I would like to share that never had an Amiga before, remember my youth to see some magazines with those excellent, perfect, wonderfull Amiga game images and compared with my PC compatible 16 colour graphics !!!

Finally got an Amiga 500 with some disks, the first I noticed was the floppy didn't work and I have replaced it with a Gotek with Flasfloppy I have programmed myself.

I have been able to run some games, workbench, utilities but I'm unable to run other games.

As I have seen I have:
- CHIP 0.50 MB
- FAST 0.00MB
- SLOW 0.00MB

Do some games require more than 512kb of chip memory?
Is there memory update or card update recommended to buy?

My wife and I are cleaning out our condo, and either throwing away or selling everything that we don't need. This at this point includes her collection of old Amiga computers and peripherals, which she used to use as office computers back when she ran her own video editing company about 20 years ago. I know that these are definitely worth selling and in some demand, but I have never sold a vintage computer and have no idea where to begin.

Specifically, we have an Amiga 4000T with a Video Toaster, a 2000 with dual floppies and an internal hard drive, two keyboards and a mouse, a 1084S monitor, a large number of assorted CD-roms and floppies, and a stack of software and hardware manuals. I've gone through and tested all the hardware, replaced batteries and cleaned up corrosion, recapped the 4000T and repaired a blown cap in the monitor. Everything seems to be in good working state, although I have no way to fully test the Video Toaster.

What's the best way to go about selling this collection? How do I even safely package and ship something like the computers or the 1084S monitor? Am I best off selling the lot of floppies and CDs as a single bulk lot, or trying to break them up? Is anyone even going to be interested in the pile of manuals? Any advice would be quite appreciated.
