I have been in to retro PC for some time, but I am extremely new to the world of Amigas.
I recently come into possession of an A2000. Bare-bone system its a Rev 6.4 board, 3.1 - 40.063 kickstart rom, ECS Angus and Normal Denise chips. system boots up with the 3.1 install floppy disk.
I found someone local selling an A2091 rev4, unknown condition. It has the 7.0 roms, 08 WD33C93A scsi chip, No ram chips, and 6inch scsi cable. (I have a 12inch cable and 256x4bit chips ordered)
I have purchased a SCSI2SD v5.2.
The pre-boot Expansion diagnostic shows that all the devices are working.
When I boot from the 3.1 install disk and run HDTOOLBOX, I get, "Driver not loaded" and all options are grayed out. Unable to find a ADF file for the A2091 install disk. Found a DMS file, but not able to write those to a floppy.
I am using a 16GB SD card. The SCSI2SD setup is stock, only option selected is termination, Device 1 is 950MB set to scsi device 0. I have played around with the option on the SCSI2SD, nothing changed. Tried the SD card formatted to FAT32 and NTFS.
The A2091 card is in Auto, JP201 pins 1-2 are closed, RAM is set to 0KB, JP5 option NO pins are closed. I get no HD active light, out side the flash on the SCSI2SD at power on. I have pulled the roms from the A2091, no change. Tried different jumpers setting, no change.
Possible the A2091 is dead, or If its the cable, or lack of on board ram?
I have watched and followed a number of Youtube videos of people going though the setup for the A2091, HDTOOLBOX, never shows any devices and gives the "Driver not loaded" error.

Subject: I finished my longplay of Stunt Car Racer. At first, I didn't want to release it without the "Super League", but recent events changed my mind (-;
Hi all, new/first time Amiga owner here, just picked up a 1000 and am hoping someone can point me to some things to troubleshoot.
When powered on, the composite video output is black and the power led just blinks. No disk drive noises or indication that it's initializing. Previous owner suggested the daughter board might not be aligned correctly, but I've reseated it a few times, checking that the pins are in (as best as I can see) with no change.

Why there were no online games for amiga later when internet was more accessible obviously ports could get added? I remember the dial up era and people used to play muds and some more evolved dungeon crowlers on other computers. Any ideas?

Hey all.
So I have vid memories of playing this game on our old Amiga and despite looking through a ton of lists and videos. It’s one of the few games from my childhood I haven’t been able to identify.
It was a game where you flew forward though a black space like void as rectangles and squares flew towards you in seeming 3D space and you had to avoid hitting then. You could move up and down. Left and right. There was no onscreen character or sprite. So I suppose technically it was first person.
As the game progressed it started introducing 3D cubes and rectangles. Genuinely the closest thing it reminds me of know is a mix between beat sabre and other action rhythm games.
If anyone has any memory of what this vaguely described game is that would be amazing!
Thanks :)
