I found an amiga 500, but before I try and power it on I want to figure out a few things, it has two rom banks, and the swtich is broke, I can't entirely figure out how to it's meant to be rewired. it has 3 wires soldered to the switch and another wire kind just run around a bit randomly I've included pictures.

![]() | Few days ago a campaign was launched on Kickstarter, for a remake of a classic Amiga mouse. Anyone who ever had contact with Amiga surely knows that distinctive mouse shape :) The new release of the "Tank Mouse" is a wireless device with a touch scroll, which however still works with Amiga computers, but can be used for modern PC's or Mac's as well. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/lukas-remis/tank-mouse-your-new-amiga-mouse [link] [comments] |

I posted a photo earlier of my "green tinted" screen issue when using RGB connection on myA600to my Dell 2001FP. The issue used to be intermittent but seems constant now.
However, using the composite connection to same monitor is still fine with no color issue.
Just need to clarify, is this likely to be a cable issue or a hardware issue? If latter, how would I go about fixing it? I need specifics since my technical skills are limted. Thanks in advance!

Subject: Thoughts on the the A600? Good? Bad? An ok first Amiga for a newcomer?
I understand it features an IDE interface, meaning running Workbench from a βhard driveβ is easy to do, plus it can easily handle both NTSC and PAL software and displays
I also understand it was a letdown in 1992 because it was like the A500 but worse in some ways, cost more and came out too early for AGA

Hi friends, I've been getting back Into Amiga games latley through Retroarch PUAE core on my CFW PS3.
I can't get my USB keyboard working for it but I have been able to remap keyboard controls for a lot of games to my PS3 control pad, particularly dungeon crawlers.
There are quite a few nice looking flght sims I would love to play (Nighthawk, Birds Of Prey), but there are too many controls to map to a control pad. I hoping someone can suggest flight sims that have a simple control scheme or a minimal amount of keys I could map to a control pad.
Even if someone could tell me the all the keys for a game they like, or enough to get me in the air and shooting, I'd be grateful.
Or should just forget the idea of playing Amiga flight sims with a control pad?
