Subject: Calling all Workbench Gurus: Starting PPP_dialer from User-Startup
I'm in the process of installing AmigaOS v3.2 on my MiSTer FPGA and like to use Roadshow as TCP stack. I've got it working when I manually put this in the shell:
ppp_dialer S:PPP-Configurations/PPP
However the tutorial recommends to add a line in user-startup to automate the process at startup:
run <nil: >nil: ppp_dialer S:PPP-Configurations/PPP
This does not work, as I think the 1st NIL has a typo '<' but what would be the right way to do this? >NIL: >NIL: twice?
Here's the tutorial: https://misterfpga.org/viewtopic.php?t=2063
Any help appreciated.

I played Citadel on my A500 mini and I wanted to try it on my A600. When i start it i get a messed up titlescreen and then all I get is a black screen. Has anyone got it to work on a real Amiga? Is it an AGA game?

Hi ! I've received my A500mini. As show in youtube vidéos, it works well, the interface is well donne, i appreciate being able to quit and launch another game on the go.
To me, there are two open questions :
- Did anyone notice a lag ? In pinball Dreams it is really hard to click on the right time.... It has a percievable lag that make the game not fun, same as the control of supercars2.
When emulating on a pc with winuae i don't have such lag...
- I still have to install a usbkey with some games. I was hoping a full "one click install and play" in the support page of retrogames.biz, that would add gales on the menu and extend the games list.
Cheers amigans !

Subject: A500 mini: No virtual keyboard in WHDLoad games...?
Got my A500 mini, and it works great. I've put a ton of WHDLoad games on the USB stick and they run fine too, but I can't seem to call up the virtual keyboard from the controller.
The keyboard pops up fine when you press 'menu' in game on any of the preinstalled games, but it has no effect in WHDLoad games run from the USB. Some of them need keyboard commands - is anyone else getting this, or am I doing something wrong...?

Playing speedball 2, half way through the league and your hand brushes the wrong button on your joystick/arcade fight stick and it dumps you straight back to the just loaded screen on the game. All your work is deleted and it basically resets the console and loads that same game in an instant and ruins all your progress. I think with the joypad that comes with it the fatal button is yellow. You may need to press left shoulder and yellow but I tend to use the competition pro USB + or my hori fight stick. Beyond annoying. Anyone got a solution other than me disconnecting that button on my fight stick?
Thx

Hi all I'm new to Amiga this is my first one. How many games use keyboard controls? Is it worth sourcing an era appropriate beige clacky keyboard and plugging it in to get the full experience? Also what joysticks did/do you all use on your Amigas? Quickshot ones or comp pro / tac-2s same as what you'd see on a c64? Looking to get the most authenticity put of the mini experience. Also hoping someone figures out getting workbench running soon

Is anyone working on a new Bridgeboard? I'd love for someone to recreate something like the golden gate board.

Hi all, trying to remap some of the keyboard shortcuts for the game FAERY TALE ADVENTURE but one of the keys, the "?" isn't on the virtual keyboard mapping under gamepad config. Does anyone know if its possible to bring up an alternate key or map a key combo by chance - like shift-/ to get ?.
I suspect no but thought I would ask.

Subject: What can you do to make a REV5 board more valuable?
What should I put in REV5 Amiga 500 to make it more valuable?
Right now I'm getting ready to recap it.
I want a 4 ROM flash with the latest DiagROM, 1.3, 3.2 or 3.9, whichever is better, and something else. I don't know what I should get for the 4th ROM, I'm open to suggestions for something cool.
I'm also definitely going to CyberStorm and RGB to HDMI it.
I'm a little worried about the Chip RAM. I would love to get a Obese ECS Agbus 8375 for it, but you can only find PAL ones, and I'm in the States.
At some point I'm going get a ReAmiga 500 board in White, so that will definitely get the 8375.
I have an 8MB+CF adapter for under the 68000. Has anyone tryed one of those under a CyberStorm?
I would imagine that the RAM on the CyberStorm looks like it's on an accelerator, so the 8MB of "Slow-FastRAM" should also be visable.
Is there anything cool you can only do to REV5?

Hi, has anyone been able to test an arcade stick with the Mini? I've seen some YouTube videos that show partial compatibility with a Competition Pro, but I have a Mayflash arcade stick I was hoping to use. Any ideas if it will work? TIA

In custom games in a usb, the joystick is not working.
Has anyone made it work?
I also tested xbox series x controller and it is not working

Subject: Any 100% compatible wireless controller for A500 Mini?
Subject: A500 PSU help needed! looks like this has several problems to me, at least one dead resistor, and maybe some leaked caps too?
So I got a collection of 3000+ games on a 64GB stick inserted to the mini and it only shows like up to the letter B... Is there a limitation to how many titles the browser can show?

Subject: What multi-system released games looked or played best on the Amiga?
I want to play some classics, but there is always the question of what system to play them on if they were multi-system releases.
So my question is what games had their best release on the Amiga, in terms of graphics or gameplay?
