Subject: Question about bugs and glitches, Tsunami the culprit?
Hi!
I have noticed a problem with my A1200, there are adfs like Ishar, Ishar 2, Oops Up and Lotus 3 among others that refuse to load or crash with a red and black software error. It might be the fault of the adfs but I tried several different versions all seem to be faulty in the same way. Then there are graphical and sound bugs in some games, corrupted sound in shufflepuck cafe for instance or the circuit being pitch black instead of brownish in stunt car racer.
All this makes me wonder if it may be the fault of the Tsunami 68030 accelerator card the Amiga has, or if it could be a different problem?
Is it likely that all the adfs version you can get online are faulty? Or that it may be something else?
Thanks!

A1200 .net have just released the clear A500 cases on their site.
Not sure who was waiting for one but I have just put an order down. Hurrahs.

Playing this with Amiga Forever; only issue is the bombs are dropped by pressing the space bar, whereas i'd like to assign it to a joystick button but i can't figure it out. the joystick is an e g starts kit, for what it's worth. cheers

Hi all,
bought a nice A500 today on Ebay. In the market now for Deluxe Paint, which I enjoyed very much when I was a kid (got my first Amiga in June 1989). Considering that not always new software is better, am wondering, what Deluxe Paint do you have experience with, what do you enjoy / prefer? I think I had Deluxe Paint 2, as I'm pretty certain it was just one disc.
Looking fwd to your replies! :)

Rumour has it that Jeff Miner liked to give everything feminine names (Lorraine, Denise etc). Does "girlfriend" (Amiga) also come from Jeff?

Hi there,
got me an A500 today on Ebay and loving it. Device came without a controller though! Searching on Ebay for a mouse now and realising in terror, that the original mouse from back in the days (didn't know it was called "tank" mouse when I had my Amiga as a ten year old kid in the late eighties) is not coming cheap. Its plus 40 bucks on Ebay. Also, if I remember correctly, that thing was also not the most sturdy / sophisticated tool in the world. Might get trash for a lot of money. Wondering now, what are you guys using? Is it worth the money? Should I go for adapter plus modern mouse? Are there alternatives that honour the retro character of the device?
Looking forward to you replies :)

Dunno if this can be made to run on a stock Amiga but someone might want to try, for bragging rights
