Looking for any old-school cover disk era samples anybody may have kicking around, or, alternatively what kind of archive may be out there for em.

Subject: Finally have a CD32, the last console on my hit list of retro, but I have some questions

[Reply] [ReplyQuoted] [Headers] [Print]

Finally picked up a nice condition CD32, and i've got a TF328 coming for it as well.

I was wondering though, what the largest CF card, or SD card with adapter I can practically use with it is?

I've also got some old software on floppy disk, I have a working A500+ is there some way of transferring them over serial or somthing?

Also is there some form of floppy emulation or passthrough I can use?

I assume i'll need some kind of adapter for the AUX port for that?

Thanks!

Subject: How does the A500 mini look on a 40” screen and has anyone used this wireless mouse/keyboard with it?

[Reply] [ReplyQuoted] [Headers] [Print]

Hi, I hope I’m allowed to post this here? If not I do apologise and please delete. I’m getting the A500 mini for Xmas and just have a couple of questions for those who already have one. Thanks in advance 😊.

1) Do the games look okay on a big screen? The only HD TV I have is 40”. I’d love to play them on a HD 14” TV or monitor but don’t have £100 spare to buy one especially 😔.

2) Has anyone used this wireless keyboard (Logitech K400) with the A500 mini? I don’t have a desk set up so was thinking of using this for games that require keyboard/mouse input. This was one of the cheaper ones I could find that had a touch mouse built in but if anyone else has any suggestions please let me know! https://amzn.eu/d/hUxXoWo

Thanks for any help with this!

Subject: Trying to find samples used in Pinball Illusions

[Reply] [ReplyQuoted] [Headers] [Print]

The tracks for the stage Extreme Sports from Pinball Illusions are a really addicting and cute rendition of heavy metal weirdly mixed with dance beats that just comes together beautifully for me. I've been thinking of remaking a few tracks from the game for a while now but I'm really stuck on finding the guitar samples used in the soundtrack. If anyone knows any good places to look, or recognizes anything at all, please let me know.
