Hello,
Is there a way to unmount/eject your usb-stick, so it does not need to be checked by windows for errors? Every time i put my mini amiga usb stick in my pc it says the volume need to be checked for errors.
Cheers.

Hey people.
I recently acquired an A600 for the purposes of making music with, and it works well apart from an issue with the sound, in that it produces audio albeit highly distorted, akin to putting it through a guitar pedal at maximum gain.
Im aware that the Capacitors of the era are prone to leaking and was wondering A) if anyone had come across a similar audio fault on either a 600 or 1200, and B) whether it is indeed likely to be due to naffed caps. And I guess C) if not what might it be / what be a likely, if possible fix?
Im just putting it out there at this stage to see whether anyone had come across a similar issue and might be able to advise off the top of their head? If not I could provide examples of the type of distorted sound I describe.
Thanks in advance for any input. Having recieved the unit and it booting up into workbench without any hassle I went on to procure a few floppies with relevant music software (namely aegis sonix, protracker, octamed) along with a sound digitizer / sampler, a midi interface, IDE> compact flash adapter, gotek floppy emulator, a few choice games to play in the meantime and of course a zips tick, only to discover to my horror upon loading something up that the audio is completely garbled. I cant tell whether its more similar to extreme bitcrushing of the audio or just extreme high gain distortion.
Anyhow, this little lot basically broke the bank, but I was happy in the knowledge that I'd be tracking happily at the expense of not eating or doing anything else for a few months. Needless to say, I'm absolutely gutted, and have no chance of getting a refund on the mig, not that I want to.
Help!
Thanks again, sorry for the essay.

I'm talking about the custom workbench themes from Worms: The Directors Cut. I've tried looking for it, but there is:
- No images
- No videos
- Not even mentions in the manual
- Nothing
There are mentions in the official Worms Wiki but other than that, i didn't find anything.
Do you know or have any images relating to the Wormbench? I'm curious about how it looks like and what it does, so if you have anything, please reply. Thank you.

Subject: Are text-based games like this working on Amiga?
Hi! My first computer was Amiga 600. I was using it mostly for playing games - my first two, bought with the computer, were Lotus II and Toki (arcade with jumping ape). I still have A600 on my attic, but I'm a little afraid of whether it still works - as long as I don't try to run it, I can pretend it does (Schrodinger's Amiga). Besides, my Amiga has never been connected to the Internet, and I'll frankly admit that I don't know how it should be done. That's why I can't test this games compability myself. Anyway - I am currently taking my first steps in creating text-based games that can be played online. I wanted to ask if anyone could check whether such games run without problems on their Amigas (I know that they are working fine on PC and Mac, there are sometimes problems on some mobiles).

Subject: Looking for A3000 mobo artwork layout / traces
Hello,
Anyone know a source for A3000 PCB artwork? Rev 9.02 is the one I am working on. Trying to repair trace damage around the battery.
https://www.amigapcb.org has great interactive versions but no A3000 files yet.
I have the schematics but looking to validate continuity quickly without removing ICs.
Any leads appreciated.

I have finally released my Turrican 2 AGA project.
https://sonicslothgames.itch.io/turrican2aga
This is a rewrite from scratch of the Turrican 2 PC-DOS version for AGA Amigas. 24bit/256 colours, original music/sounds. All levels plus various things that were missing in the DOS version have been reinstated (missing parallax, animations, waterfall effects, etc.)
A variety of controls options are available. Floppy, WHDLoad and A500 Mini versions are provided. And there are even some new secrets to find.
It is free to download, and, yes, you can choose to use the Amiga Player sprite or the PC-DOS one.
Enjoy and have a great Christmas! :)
