Does anyone remember the Colgate game?

It was a little tooth who went around brushing teeth, and despite it being just a promo for Colgate (Germany) it was exceptionally playable.

There were two versions, the latter had better graphics and tweaks but the first version felt metter in my opinion.

I'm in the process of setting up an Amiga hdd, through winuae, for transfer to my 600. I've got a basic hardfile, that is partitioned and formatted (used workbench floppy to boot, and used hdtoolbox for partition).

The next step is adding the ClassicWB hardfile (68k version), so that I can install ClassicWB to the other hardfile which is partitioned and formatted.

The ClassicWB installer doesn't give a choice of install location, so I go through the install process to the end, and reboot the machine (and removing the ClassicWB hardfile), but the machine doesn't boot (it sits at a command prompt).

I'm unsure if a) it's possible to do what I'm doing, use two hardfiles and install one to the other, b) I'm unsure where ClassicWB is actually installing to in this case, or c) if it's something to do with how I've set the hardfiles up in terms of which one should be dh0, which ide controller type to use, etc

Any help would be much appreciated

I just got an Amiga 500 and it is working great, except that sometimes the audio cuts out and I have to wiggle the scart cable to get it to work again. I tried a brand new cable and have the same issue so I assume it is on the monitor end. Any suggestions on how to clean the connection on the monitor side? Or other suggestions?

This is my first Amiga, though I had a number of computers back in the 80s. Other than this issue I am loving things so far!

Do I just need one of those cheap £3 adapters you plug the wired controller into with USB-A on the other end?

Seen people using Wireless controllers and a 3rd party dongle but just wanted to check the wired way is as simple as this (still have my old wired one).

tl;dr - I was waiting for a cable for the OSSC, but in the meantime tried out the MK3 scan doubler. I love it enough to not even try out the OSSC - is there any real advantage I have?

I got an OSSC - advice from the seller. He suggested I get a SCART cable and OSSC and output to HDMI.

I got the OSSC right away, but the cable was overseas and isn't even here yet. That's when I read about the MK3. Ordered one just two days ago (I'm in NYC). And wow - it got here before the cable.

So I installed it - and OMG - so perfect! The screen worked fine with my semi-cheap 4k asus monitor. I could even change the aspect ratio w/no problem.

Now I have an OSSC and the MK3. I think I'm fine with just an MK3 - is there any advantage of me keeping the OSSC? I said I'd return it to save the $200.

I have a Travelmate 4200 with one of those card modem thingys, I was thinking of wiring it's phone line to the amiga modem's phone line and getting it to forward the connection to ethernet, but anyone got any suggestions?

I absolutely love this song. It sounds and feels like it belonged to an intro that plays when you load a cracked game on Amiga. This really gives me chills and reminds me of good old times spent with my Amiga CDTV. If I only knew how to program cracktros I would make a dedicated one just for this song.
