What do you primarily use AmigaOS for? What is the main activity you do?

Subject: Boot without startup sequence

I am such a noob!

I just figured out that you can boot into the CLI without loading Workbench and then start games from the HDD. (Thanks Ishar3!)

It seems to run so much better than starting into Workbench and then loading the game!

Good thing the game told me I didn't have enough chip memory and to do it...

That is all, I am a total noob sometimes!

Subject: I just realized, after almost a year, that I threw away the AmigaOS 3.2 serial code...

I was trying to create a new CF Card for WHDLoad and don't have a disc drive anymore, so I thought I'd see about downloading it from Hyperions website.

Turns out you have to register your copy of AmigaOS there.

And then it turns out the serial code of the software is on the OUTSIDE of the cellophane that the disc box was wrapped in....

Why? Why would you do that?

I didn't know back when I unwrapped it, never even noticed any code...

Now of course I have a disc I can't use and no serial.

So I thought about buying it again but there doesn't seem to be a download version anywhere, I could get it on a CF card though... ;)

Does anyone know a place that sells Workbench 3.2 as a digital download?

Subject: Cannon Fodder tune inspired…

I’ve recently been playing Ghost of Tsushima on the PlayStation and the menu tune really reminds me of the Cannon Fodder cemetery hill screen tune Narcissus. Has anyone else ever noticed this? It’s not a direct copy but parts of it sound very similar to me.

Subject: Serial number missing . There was a post about Serial numbers ealier. The post was about the serial number 1. And was this really the first ever made. I said back then, i have seen several thru time with the number 1 and just wanted to show that serial numbers back then was messy in Asia. :)
