A1200 1D.4 not booting with CF/HDD

Just got another A1200 but this time rev 1D.4 of the board (with A1200 UK sticker on the board). For some reason, it had removed a resistor from the composite output. Also when I will go to the early-boot menu it shows that runs as NTSC, not PAL (though that A1200 UK will be PAL). But the biggest issue so far is that with connected CF/HDD I'm not able to get it up and running (DiagRom for Gayle test shows as: Checking if we have pending IDE interrupt).

It will not even allow booting to the early-boot menu. I will hear only one click of the floppy and the screen goes black.

If the CF card (or HDD) is not installed it will boot fine (DiagRom shows as No Disk Found). Also when removing the CF card and leaving only the adapter. CF (and HDD) are fully functional because I have pulled them from my working A1200

Also what is interesting is when I switched the adapter to the SC card with just empty SD cards Amiga will boot and DiagRom will show:

Any thoughts on that? Not enough power on for the CF card?

Amiga external FDD not reading disks

This drive is not reading floppy disks correctly. I read somewhere that before opening the drive it is better to try a disk cleaning kit. Cleaning kits are not widely available and it is a hell of a job to open the case of this drive. What should I do?

Back in the 80's cable companies had the community bulletin board, and from what I've found they ran on Amiga's. What I haven't been able to find is what was the software? I used to watch it mesmerized for some silly reason and then the day came... Someone was editing right on the live channel! Drama and excitement right in front of my eyes on a bulletin board channel!
