Subject: COMMODORE AMIGA GAME ( similar to elevator action)
hello guys. i remember when i was a kid .. i was like 10 years old maybe in 1993... there was a game on my friend's older brother AMIGA PC. It was like elevator action but more realistic.. you went threw corridors with a lot of doors, and enemies came out of the doors screaming and shooting at you. does any one remember that game ? tks.

Hi,
I'm looking for a game I used to play long time ago. It was probably a strategical game, there was a 2D map with location of units, with buttons on the right panel, and then (probably after you selected the unit on said map and pressed some button) you switched to a 3D TPP view where you manually controlled the vehicle, probably the one you selected on the first screen. There were at least 3 vehicles, 2 tanks and one helicopter in there.
Does somebody know the game I'm looking for?

Subject: Amiga 2000 rebuild progress, SCSI2HD stuff, A2091, and more questions?
Hello fellow Amigians!
I posted a while back on my A2000 that I'm working on. I got the A2091 to operate again, after fixing the boffed job on the Bus speed selector (JP201) and soldering on a proper 3-pin jumper block. I also found some bad solder on a memory chip, so reworking that helped it pass the test that comes with the installation disk.
At some point later, I can try the 14Mhz mod again, or just go back.
Details - It has the updated SCSI Chip, 7.0 Roms, and 2MB onboard populated RAM. A2000 itself has the updated ECS chip and the 3.1.4 ROM. It's a REV 6 with 1MB onboard. At present, no other cards installed - I want to install 6MB Zorro Ram, and an A2286 with some PC cards. I've also soldered in the 16bit extenders on the PC side, if that's somehow relevant.
(And yes, I replaced the battery with a coin cell long ago, lol)
Latest in the Saga:
I was trying a 4GB SD card - I gave up and found an old 1GB sd card. I set up the SCSI2SD to have two partitions of approx 500MB each - I've gotten them to show up as DH0 and DH1 - HINT: UP THE BUFFERS IN HDTOOLBOX when you partition (it helps) if you have any extra RAM.
Buffers at 30 meant a format took all night - Buffers at 130 mean the format took about an hour.
So, first off - it seems that I can get them to format out and exist on the desktop - so I've gotten farther than I did last time.
Problems: Autoboot on A2091 seems to hang the A2000. Does this only work after the boot HD is formatted with a system image/etc? Do I have to this on to use it to boot from HD, or is that just a boot priority setting? Do I have something else wrong with the A2091? I saw suggestions that this means the ROMs are goofy.
I'm using .adf files from a GoTek as DF0: and using the A2091 install disk. I've tried to reboot after HD install to install 3.1.4 from disk - checking that version of HDTools it claims it can't find any HD. This was before I am currently reformatting the SCSI2HD as two 500(ish) MB drives.
I have workbench 3.1.4 - when am I ready to install the software as the OS on the HD?
Thanks folks, please continue to be awesome!
