I'm building a pair of emulation based A600's for Amiga DJing.
I'd love to see some RPI/ A500 mini based custom Amiga 600's for some inspiration on a couple of projects I'm working on.
Any ideas for cases/ keyboards or parts I should use to build one of these?
I've noticed some of the ones I've seen were built by someone who already had an A600 to start with, however I don't own an A600, therefore I can't use any A600 parts, for example, the keyboard.
So I'm wondering if you guys have any suggestions for what I could use to build my emulation based A600.
I'm not opposed to 3D printing, and I can use prints built around 60% keyboards, but if possible, I'd like to use an original Amiga 600 looking Shell and keyboard, but I'm also curious about what I'd do regarding the keyboard. Since KeyRah's are no longer available and I can no longer find any A600 keyboards within my budget.
Thank you so much for your help with this project.
P.S.: I'm wanting to avoid the Pi400 simply due to not currently having one, and as well, I'd much prefer to use a mechanical keyboard for these builds so I can have a more tactile feel whenever I'm triggering parts of the tracks and such.
P.S.S.: Strictly going for Emulation based as I'd prefer to not have to worry about the fragility of legitimate Amiga hardware.

Subject: Where do you see the future of Amiga hardware lying most of all?
I have made this poll. If leaning towards a mix of solutions please choose the one alternative that holds the most weight, and that you are more excited about.

Why is it so? Is it synced somehow, and can I avoid it? It's especially notable on sound.

So I've broken down the old A1200, sent the mobo off to be re-capped, and ordered the Indivision MK3 and a IDE2CF. Now I'm left with an empty case, and the shielding which is looking a bit blotchy. I assume it's only superficial, but it would be quite nice to clean or replace the shielding to get a nice clean look, especially on the back plate. I've looked for replacements, but only found the Centurion back plate, so is cleaning the only other option? If so, what methods have people used to clean the shielding?

Apologies for the sheer dimwittedness of this, but I’m definitely more a gamer with fine Amiga memories rather than a programmer….
Installed Pandory on USB, booted it up but I get a workbench ‘no disc’ error message instead of that fancy menu system I see on YouTube. Any help is appreciated.

![]() | Hello to the community. Couple days ago while i was organizing some stuff on my family's garage, i found my moms Amiga 500 with its power cables, the mouse, the joystick, the manual and two boxes full of amiga games, only the video cable is missing for the monitor. I'm new to the Amiga "ecosystem" because i'm 22 and i have a slight love about retro stuff but first time ever i came across to an Amiga 500 which is so cool. My question is... what kind of video cable does the 500 wants for the monitor ? Because like i've searched on the internet about video cables and there's so many for it which it really got me confused on which one is the right for the monitor, because some of them have different connections and such. I'll provide some photos. Both the Amiga and the monitor looks in a very good shape. They both work just fine and they get power, and i also believe that this Amiga has a modded ram ? from what i've searched people really did get RAM expansion cards and i think this one has too, it even has a switch which i don't know what it does... so yeah. I just want you guys to tell me what kind of video cable do i need for that monitor which the 1084S, do i need to get one which has the circle plug or the RCA type port from the monitor ? I'm sorry for my bad English, its not my main language.... [link] [comments] |

I can't find any demos on YouTube.
Reply here if you know of one. A big one was "Popcorn" and I can't find it anywhere online except on one of my old Amiga 3.5" diskettes.

Hi Amiga people.
I am emulating my Amiga games and software without (almost) any issues, I have done it for a couple years now (puae, retroarch).
But one game that I really would like to (re)play and that gives me problems is Superfrog (classic or cd32 version). I start it, watch the demo, and then I am stuck on a black screen with text (author, requirements, features...), I can scroll down but I can't figure out how to start the game! Am I missing something?
I thought this was the best sub for this question, please let me know.
